Lars Birkeland is the managing director of Apokjeden. Until recently Lars was CFO in the Tamro Group in Finland.

Lars Birkeland has more than 20 years of retail experience of which 13 years from abroad, more specifically from the US, Baltic region, and Poland. From 2001 Lars was the CFO of Apokjeden and was instrumental in establishing the Apotek1 chain in Norway. In 2006 he assumed the responsibility as the Group CFO of Tamro Corporation in Finland where he, among other things, focused on the retail expansion in the Baltic region and Poland.
